proudly presents
Nepathya back on the road

Since the country went into Emergency and then to a chronic political instability back in 2001 – this is Nepathya ’s 3rd National Tour. The first back in 2002, where Nepathya alone travelled to 5 cities from east to west with the slogan ‘Education for Peace’ and then in 2003 it teamed up with 5 other artists to make ‘Sundar Shanta Nepal – The Travelling Peace concert’ happen.
Sundar Shanta Nepal is still considered as the largest musical happening in the history of Nepali music.

As a continuity to our earlier peace initiative – Shanti ko Lagi Sikchya Tour 2002 – This time too nepathya and nepa~laya has decided to advocate education and peace. The two most vital elements required for a stable Nepal.

2 years ago The Shanti ko Lagi Sikchya Tour – was organised in 5 cities of Nepal. This tour was not only credited for utilising the power of music for a noble cause – but was also applauded for opening new horizons to the entertainment business in the country. It had paved a new arena of possibilities for professional musical events in the nation.

This year we are travelling to 15 places from far-west to the eastern localities.
The tour is set to commence from Tulshipur, Dang on the 15th of Baishak and then move on to – Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Palpa, Birgunj, Dharan, Dulabari – Jhapa, Damak, Janakpur, Hetauda, Naraynghat, and then finally end it’s tour in Kathmandu on the 15th of Jestha.

The primary objective of the tour is to use the medium of music to heal the disturbed mindsets of our countrymen. Nepathya as the ambassador for Peace and Education – appeals for a politics free educational institute and a peaceful living environment.

Explaining the objective of the tour, Kiran Krishna Shrestha of nepa~laya says,
“education is the basics for sustainable peace and stability – this is why we all join nepathya to advocate for politics free and proper educational environment and yes of course a peaceful air to breath.”

After being a part of two earlier musical peace initiatives, Amrit Gurung of nepathya adds “ I wish there was peace and I did not have to advocate for it.........”.

To enhance and strengthen the effectivity of this venture, Live radio casts will be carried out by local Radio Stations in most of the places (except Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Janakpur, Damak – where there are no local Radio Stations).
We expect cooperation from all to make this tour a success.

Peace…
