Music video making is a genre within visual production – which requires talent and the capability to glamorise simple available subjects. Bhusan Dahal an ace music video maker of Nepal, shoulders a music video project of a song - Sa… Karnali…by an ace Nepali band - Nepathya.

As this folk based rock song originates from a Trans-Himalayan West Nepal district of Dolpa, the production team travels close to the song’s origin. Travelling on a twin otter, on foot, on horseback, on a chopper… through Dolpa.

Thinle, the lead character of the Oscar nominated – Caravan (Himalaya) – volunteers to be part of the venture and joins Amrit – the singer of Nepathya in the video.

This is a 51 minutes film that follows the shooting of a 3'45". song. screened at: Himalaya Film Festival – Netherlands 2005
