NEPATHYA to perform in the US

After an intensive and well-appreciated nationwide tour – Nepathya is now all geared to perform in the USA.

Nepathya has been invited to the USA by The Association of Nepalis in the Americas (ANA) – to perform during their annual convention to be held this year in Phoenix.

The performance will be staged as the closing act of the convention on 4th of July at the local Double Tree Resort. The closing night of the convention has been named after the Band. It is being called - Nepathya Nite.

The convention is expected to be participated by more than 2000 Nepalese living in and around America. Utilising this platform – Nepathya will perform not only popular hit numbers but will also perform it’s social numbers as it did during their recent National Tour, when it travelled to 14 cities in the Nation.

“We will use this platform to convey the present situation of the nation to the affluent NRNs in the America and urge all Nepalese living everywhere to contribute in helping build nation to a better future” – says the humble front man of Nepathya – Amrit Gurung.

This is Nepathya’s first travel to the US, and nepa~laya’s first venture in a foreign land as well. Since it’s operation during the past two and half years, nepa~laya has been spreading it’s wings inside Nepal. Nepa~laya has already done Several National Tour in Nepal with various artists, including Nepathya.

The recent Nepathya tour – advocating for a peaceful educational environment was organised by nepa~laya as well.
This is the first time nepa~laya is officially taking any musician beyond Nepal.

Nepathya Nite in Phoenix is being organised by The ANA Convention 2004 in association with nepa~laya.

All current members of the band – Amrit, Dhruba, Daniel, Nikhil, Hari, and Suraj are all set for the entourage. Kiran Krishna Shrestha, the team leader of nepa~laya is leading the team to The US, which is scheduled to leave Kathmandu on the 28th of July.

After performing on the 4th of July, the entire team is scheduled to be back by the 14th of July 2004.
